Anderson Lake State Park Closure

Anderson Lake State Park will be closed for construction from June 15, 2026 to August 31, 2026. The construction includes paving the entrance road, ADA parking, new restrooms, equestrian area improvements, and the new extension of the Olympic Discovery Trail. This post will be removed when the work is completed.

New Trails Not Open Yet

Important Update in Jefferson County: The new section of the Olympic Discovery Trail from 4 corners to Anderson Lake State Park is not open yet.

OAT Gossett Road

The Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT) paved section west of Joyce near Gossett Road is fully open though it is subject to closure when logging resumes.

Signage at the trailhead should be followed.
Do not park on the trail or in front of the bollards at any time.

Be aware that the ODT and OAT are close together in that location, but only the ODT section is affected.
